The Power of You

The Power of You is a podcast for individuals who want to lead their lives from a place of depth, clarity, and truth.

Hosted by founder, speaker, and intuitive Natalie Neilson and Emmy award-winning innovator Bill Harvey, the show brings together two distinct but complementary forms of insight: Natalie’s intuitive channeling, pattern recognition, and grounded understanding of human behaviour, and Bill’s decades of research into consciousness, flow state, and the mechanics of human performance.

Each episode blends intuitive guidance, evidence-based wisdom, founder reflections, and meaningful dialogue designed to shift how you think, lead, and live. If you’re someone who’s growing, leading, building, or simply committed to living with greater intention, this podcast is your space.

New episodes released monthly on Spotify & Apple Podcasts.

What is this experience trying to teach me about myself?

So often along our growth journeys we can get stuck in whats happening outside of ourselves. This happend, that happened, they did this, they did that, that we often miss the signs that these experiences are trying to teach us.

We’re all human and none of us get it right all of the time, and often our own biggest blind spot is ourselves. However when we look for and seek to extract the learning from our life experiences both good and bad its a fast-track path to growth.

By returning the focus to ourselves, no matter how uncomfortable it may feel, it allows us to learn, and integrate our newfound knowledge more efficiently and effectively.

What are your experiences trying to reveal to you?

Often we can stay “too long”in certain relationships environments, or work dynamics and it can sometimes be to the detriment of our own happiness.

Much of this comes down to how we view endings. For many of us we view endings as failure, like we’ve made a mistake, or done something wrong but what if instead we viewed it as completion rather than failure? How would that change things? Would we move forward with more confidence and clarity?

Completion has a different energy/connations. Completion reminds me that i have taken everything from that experience, learned the necessary lessons and now its time to move onto the next chapter. It reminds me of the saying “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”

Very few experiences/people/places are meant to come all the way with us and I wondered what would change, if we changed our relationship or perception with endings? Let me know your thoughts.

Along our growth journeys one of the big hurdles we have to overcome is resistance. Resistance is usually the loudest when we’re on the threshold of upgrading our identity and stepping into a future version of ourselves.

You’ll be able to recognise resistance because it feels both mental and physical. It may show up as fear, projection, and your body may feel tight even of the thought of taking that action, upgrading that thought/belief/habit.

We often ‘want’ to become the future versions of ourselves but we can become our own biggest saboteur. Usually we only change when life forces us to or when it gets to the point where we feel more uncomfortable not to move, not to change, not to upgrade the habit, that belief than it does stay the same.

That’s usually the signal. If you’re at this stage right now and you’re reaching the ceiling of resistance know that you’re close and the next version of you is calling.

The old version becomes the loudest just before its about to be replaced and its clinging on just one last time. If you’re feeling resistance right now. Keep moving forward, keep growing, you’re closer than you think.

We did it!! Yesterday, my co-lead Christiane and I, hosted our first @hibobhr In Good Company, London Chapter Event, and my heart couldn’t be more full. We are so grateful to our wonderful panelists Danielle, Rebecca and Christine for taking time out of their day and sharing their insights so openly.

We covered ALOT, from the complexity of balancing business needs with human emotions, the importance of self-awareness and boundaries as leaders, and how difficult conversations, change, and endings can be approached with empathy and care. None of us are perfect; we’re all learning as we go, but being aware, adaptable, and willing to grow alongside the people we lead and never losing our “humanness” along the way is key. Because GREAT leaders create more leaders, and how we show up in the hardest moments often leaves the biggest impact.

A huge thank you to all who joined us, Megan from the HiBob team for her support and @longlin.world/ @creativedummy.llc for capturing such wonderful pics/videos from the event.

Excited for our next event in September... let’s build baby!! 💥 🚀
Our panel is confirmed for our first @hibobhr London In Good Company Chapter event!!! wooo!

Next week, together with my fab co-lead Christiane, we’re hosting the very first of our community chapter events. This one is focused on “The Human Side of Leadership” because while leading people and making a difference in the lives of others is SO fulfilling, much like anything in life, there is also a polarity and a flip side of quiet pressure, emotional weight, and responsibility. We want to bring to light what is normally dealt with quietly alone, so that’s why we’re so excited to be joined by three fabulous women who, through a facilitated panel discussion, are going to share their unfiltered lived experiences of leading people.

➡️ Rebecca Bryant, EMEA Business Partner @ Everpure,
➡️ Danielle Dharmaratne Assoc CIPD, Head of People Parterning @ BKL,
➡️ Christine Ng, Head of Talent & People @ Quantam Motion

This will be a collaborative experience and a safe space for audience participation and time to connect. It’s taking place next Thursday, 11th June, from 8:30 - 10:30, and is perfect for division/people leaders, HR Leads, L&D professionals, or anyone who has felt that quiet pressure and wants to connect with like-minded people-focused people. 😁

Join us for community, connection, and hey, if you show up, I’ll even pour you a coffee ☕ . How’s that for alliteration? 😂

Further details and sign-up link in stories or comment below. See you next week!
Our FIRST @hibobhr community chapter event in LONDON is LIVE. 🔥

They say, play to your strengths, and nothing brings me more joy than to bring like-minded people together to uplift one another, learn, and grow. So if you’re a people leader, in HR, Learning and Development, or a people-focused role, we want YOU to be part of our community. Join us for the first event of the series, based in central London, where we will discuss ‘The human-side of leadership’. Expect a morning of connection, conversation, and shared learning. Let’s build something special together! LET’S GO!

Huge thanks to Megan for helping to get this off the ground. 🙏 Link in bio/stories, or comment below and we’ll DM it to you.

Building the skill of self-trust and self-discipline is much like building a muscle at the gym, and one of the quickest ways to build that muscle is to keep the promises we make to ourselves, because every time we let ourselves down, not only do we stay stagnent and stuck we also erode our self-trust.

If we show up for others, what stops us showing up for ourselve?

Lets build the the muscle 💪
